Thread: Super light gas pedal after Weber carb swap. Question/help

    The "boomerang" bracket mounts to the top of your valve cover, and is meant to anchor the throttle cable housing. I used a Mazda B-series bracket kit that didn't come with one of those, and didn't seem to need it.

    The spring should attach between your carb throttle linkage and another fixed bracket, which would provide the extra pedal resistance you feel is lacking. I'll take a photo in daylight tomorrow to show how I hooked mine up.
