    Thanks. This was driving me nuts. I'm just going to safety wire the kickdown, haha. I wonder what's special about the AT version then?

    There is an additional linkage off the end of a throttle shaft that the factory kickdown cable connects to. It's then set up identically to the OEM layout. If you look up the K614 Weber kit this is the A/T optioned carb install.

    Approximately how much tension should there be on the kick down cable at base throttle.. should it be loose, slight tension or pulled to tension
