Pull the radiator. Then just work your way in. It's not that hard. The adjuster with the spring in it is the hardest part. Look through the first gen manual before you tear into it. It has good pictures of whats involved.

I have looked through my Hanes manual, and I wasn't clear on whether or not the head needs to be removed as well. I just want to make sure everything gets its proper seal with new gaskets or whatever it needs.Originally Posted by camoit
