Micro-Vortex Generators
I was checking out some things on Ebay and came across this AD for Micro Vortex Generators. They specified that NASA used and tested them to be true to fact that they benefit several things with the installation to airplanes. Though we do not reach the speeds of Gulfstream V Jet, but thought I would post this so members can have a look.
There are a couple different styles on Ebay, but this particular version specifies that they are working versions of the idea itself. See what you think...
This is the Ebay model of the product which is installed on the roof of vehicles.

This is the NASA sheet that explains the workings of these little items.

they are used to decrease drag on Evos and some big rigs - it works by diverting air into the vacuum pocket that forms at the back of a vehicle - the smaller the pocket, the less the drag.

I think you'd need a hard bed cover to gain any aerodynamic improvement. And you would probably have to be travelling at sub warp speed before they work. Bit like the Lexus LFA. Take it onto a track and do 140 kph and it'll try to kill you - do it at 170 and it'll stick to the tarmac and actually be safer to drive...

Landspeed Racers love them, cleans up the air nicely. All the really fast stuff has them. Other than the cool factor, don't expect any real improvements in fuel economy etc...on a Mighty Max.
