Assuming we are talking about the 4g64... yes, I believe those parts listed are the same.
just did some looking at 4g64 part numbers, it looks like the waterpump is the same, timing belt is different, i can't tell you how it's different though or about the timing gears.
This in an LSR Mike knid of thing. He would know. He should be on one of these days soon.
6 bolt and 7 bolt are 2 different machines, cranks don't swap, oiling is different, oil pan is different, rods are different, head bolts are different, about all they share are bore and stroke. Go one way or the other, if you have a choice, go 6 bolt.
I have both engines sitting on the floor in front of the truck. The 6 bolt engine failed a leak down test, according to the stealership, #2 cylinder.
I bought another engine cause they said they would have to rebuild mine. They delivered a 7 bolt and it was /is locked up tighter than a drum.
Pulled the 6 bolt head off, cylinder bores looks fine to me, (not that mechanically inclined, other than knowing how to take a part off, put a part back on.) Took the cam out of my head, turn it upside down, poured 5/20 wt oil into the chambers and left for a week, and #1 cylinder only leaked.
I'm figuring on the head may be bad somewheres, and instead, pull the head off the 7 bolt and put it on, and see what happens.
Question is will/can that head just bolt right up? It looks (and as my brother keeps telling me, looks can be deceiving) like it should. Other than having bolts heads that are 12 pt, 12mm size of which I don't have, and mine has socket head bolts.
BTW....the 6 bolt engine is the original out of my truck which is a:

Well you don't know if the the head will fix it #1 and they are different. the leakdown check can tell you if it's valves or rings, when you put the air to it, if you hear the hissing coming from the intake or exhaust, it's the appropriate valve, if it's coming from the oil filler, it's the rings.
You could get away with just a simple valve job, or a hone and set of rings. if it was me... well....been there done that.
