Noticed today that there is just no hose on my timing advancement unit. Where is this hose supposed to run to? Is it weird that I dont notice any issues driving the truck?

It should go to one of the ports just above the throttle plate on the drivers side of the carb. It should be teed with a line that runs to the thermo valve. I think there is a three port rubber connector that plugs into the carb. If you check the wiki section I've posted some vacuum diagrams. After you get it hooked up you may want to double check your timing advance. Should get better fuel economy after.

I second this. Thanks for the Wiki addition. This is a big help. God knows how many times people ask for this .

I somehow posted those twice. There are only supposed to be 3 diagrams. I can't remove the duplicates.
