Reminds me of my build - we built a cart using old bedframes and 2x4s where the cab or bed sat. One of the carts used pinball machine legs for the uprights.

ok so now it's time for a story update. When I first started the frame work the idea was to modify and use as much stock pieces as posible, but to keep everything from hanging below the frame after all with a static drop you can't lift up and I didn't want to drag it up. That ment the gas tank(crossmebers) , trans crossmeber, under drive shaft crossmember all need to be shaved or raised. Now just like everyone else money is tight and I am trying to keep this build as resonable (not cheap to the point of stingy though) as possible. So with that said here's the next few mods.
first in order to raise the gas tank I decide to section the tank crosmebers and mounts (after measuring the tank to bed clearance I figured I had a 1 1/4" to play with)

O and I raised that 1 1/8" and the same on the following pics



ok unfortunitly thats all the picks I took, but I finished it up buy cuting it of the bar at the welds that held it then cut 1 1/8" of the top and reattached it matching the vertical tape line and at the angle I started with

Can you measure the hitch for me shown in pic? I got a free hitch that I'm going to modify for my truck.

Hey turbomax, the measurement u asked for is 7 1/8 but that put's the hitch 2 1/2 below the plat/rollpan so u can go up a little or u can go up bout 4 1/2 to 5 and come out in the middle of the plate and go with a flip up.

sorry guys fell behind to prepare for the weekend we just had. Started baggin 2 club members mits this weekend, didn'tfinish but two other trucks had issue to deal with and they got solve but trucks are fitted for bags and straight to lay frame but not finished yet but WILL be by next sunday(after all still half to work regular job)!!!!!!!!!!!SP
