doing what i thought would never happen...

I'm selling my s10 project to fund the MM project. Ive lost interest in my s10, i have done so much work to it and it still needs so much more work. This truck served its purpose for me, i was on a bad downward spiral with substance abuse and it took up my time and helped me get clean. it truly saved my life!! But it has sat with very little work done over the last 6 months and since i carbed the engine it wont pass emissions, so i can only drive it (plated) every other year ....this was the drivable year but i don't see it getting out on the road.
SOOOO i think if i part it out and then put that money into the 91 MM ill actually get something going on. Ill prolly use the money to rebuild the transmission and engine, maybe do a yota swap on the axle and hubs. i have everything to bag it, and ill do that this fall or winter when i have the space in the garage again.
man this has been a hard decision to make, i just wanted to hear others thoughts. again i have done alot but it still needs alot. the MM is on the road daily, i think I'm doing the smart thing.

I actually just went through the same process with my conquest. I had several thousands into it and by the time it was done to my liking, the unibody couldnt handle it. It sat on jack stands for over 2 years and I went back and forth in my head about it, then finally I wanted the spot in the driveway back. Sold enough off of it to buy my Max to have something to put the motor in. It's hard at first, but time heals all.
