Well after 3 carburetors and 2 1/2 months I finally threw in the towel and took it to a mechanic close to my house who has been doing it for 30 plus years. He found that the enrichment solenoid valve not working correctly, could not find another so he shimmed this one???? but anywho it's fixed and now I'm a happy camper

i started fitting the heater back into the ute, becouse i had to move the fire wall the heater dosnt fit in the factory place, i had to cut up the heater casing and plastic weld it back together so it would fit under the dash, and becouse the back of the motor sits against the fire wall its a pain in the arse getting my hands in there to get to the heater pipes, it will be all worth it when its done though.

Took apart the door panel to see how much room I have for the stereo setup I'm planning -- not a lot. Need to rethink how to do it. Also going to do an oil change this week, and get my freshly welded tow bumper back on for the winter. Canopy is prepped for paint, but I might just buy a another one with a locking back window. Oh well. :)

Also have a person interested in my 91 Daytona. Would be nice to get rid of this:

Hid a present for the wife in the bed then put a couple of spare fenders over top of it. Then used my truck as a saw horse to cut some 2x4's. Let Primer in the garage cause its getting colder where I can leave door shut...so he sat in the truck and chilled thinking he was gonna go for a ride. Been thinking about motor mounts though.

Got 4 new skins this morning on my 86 Ram 50-Discount Tire. P195/75R-14 Kumho Solus KR21. Mount/Balance/valve stems/tire disposal/lifetime rotations and balancing. Total price of $223.36 + tax. My other tires were square and dry rotted. Rides like a new one now.

Prep the truck for winter driving. OIl and filter change. Replaced the tranny fluid and trans. pan gasket since it was leaking. I'm going to skip putting the aluminum cap on for the winter. I just got to find something to put in the bed for added weight when it snows.
