Just because they don't get much traffic doesn't mean the site is shit, there just has been more people that have found out about the other sites(md50, etc. when they were around) and went there becuase they were more populated. I know Baha(owner of maxd50) didn't really advertise for his site but when jerry made mightyd50 he left comments on everyones profile who had mighty max's on all the different sites and such, that is how MD50 first got noticed then it just began to grow. But now that there might not be anymore md50 sites it would only make sense to head over there. No offense as I like this site and all the people on it, but don't know why people dislike maxd50scene besides the slow activity, I think it is actually a better running and looking forum

yeah, there deffinatly isn't much traffic over there. The critique gallery hasn't been updated since 2005, lol. I like this forum more, although I think that one looks a little more 'professional', but MD50 looked the most 'proffesional', but I think most of that is due to color. Thats alright, this site is the sh1t. :D

i know maxd50scene has been around a while, it was the first site i went to back when i got my truck.
i "think" its also where i found a link posted to md50 and wound up there. that was a while ago.
but i wound up liking md50 since thats where the tech seemed to be at the time, so to speak.
nothing to do with the way it looks since i generally browse the archive versions of forums anyway.

that said and getting on topic, whats the verdict on this info gathering?

We should make a board specifically for md50 info. That way, we can just copy and not worry about trying to put all the info in the right board, since md50 had different board names than mr50. Or, better yet, you could make a md50 board, and then make sub-boards labeled what they were labeled on md50 (2nd gen tech, 1st gen tech, diesel tech,....), basically everything but off-topic. I wouldn't mind spending some time copying info, if we can figure something out. :D

EDIT, and then when we get all the topics copied, the boards could be locked so they can't be posted in.

Ugh... I'm still pissed at all the retardation that happened making it go down. And how nonamer abandoned the site... shii... at least put someone in charge.

BTW, owners of this site should add some better keywords to be able to find this site easier, I forgot the name and had to search for a while. "d50 mighty max forum" didn't even work.

Oh yeah... BTW... there's probably some script out there that will let you copy entire threads and let you reproduce them on another site. I've seen it before during some "forum battles".

Someone said md50 had all the "tech"... well, lets bring that over here... the people and the knowledge. I'm here already... LOL...
