(IE: A 1997 Isuzu Rodeo Dana 44 is 4 inches wider when measured from the inside of the disk brakes to the drum backing plates of a stock 1979 D50)

(the pinion is offset 2-7/8” ) 95 came with 11” disc
D1, tag code is a Limited slip 8.8" rated at 3200 lbs with 3.55 gearing
D2, L/S 8.8", 3200, 3.73
D3, L/S 8.8", 2750, 4.10
D4, L/S 8.8”, 3200, 4.56
59 7/16“ 91 to 95 Ranger
59 7/16“ 90 to P Ford Ranger
(the pinions is offset 3.313“) Rear disc not sure of year
R5 tag code is a Limited slip 8.8" rated at 2750lbs with 3.55 gearing
R6, L/S 8.8", 2750, 3.73

These 8.8” rear ends can easily be shortened 3” on the left axle tube, replacing the left axle with a right replacement, respectfully inexpensive to accomplish
The good, ford 5 on 4 ½” lug pattern has a very large wheel selection, You get 11” rear disc brakes
The bad is the stock 6 lug in front and the 9”disc brakes. But I fixed that/my problem

If I remember correctly, 56” is stock measurement flange to flange, if I'm wrong tell me and I will fix the post
