    will not crank

ok... I have a 94' 2.4L auto. ran just fine the night before, cone out in morning to start and nothing... no crank just a click from the relay on pass side floorboard. I've checked the relay and wiring (don't see any issues) and replaced the ign. module just off the coil.
the main req light also came on at the same time as this issue. I have tried to clear it with the reset switch but when I click it over it just burns brighter lol. any help would be great.
PS I've already tried searching for this fix but either I'm asking the wrong question or its just not been asked before (I doubt it)

check your neutral safety switch - sounds like it is bad or out of adjustment. Also try starting it in neutral instead of park.

I have also tested the key switch and seems to be in working order. could this be another dreaded PCM issue :/

have tested to see if starter gets power when key is turned to start and I get a lite showing power.... could it just be a bad starter?! I've also tried to pull for codes and nothing.

It could be a dead solenoid on the starter - pull it and have it checked.

ok pulled starter and it checked good, now as previously stated I was getting start position power to the starter but no crank. now after testing good I hooked it back up before installing and it also spun, installed and it started.... guess she's getting ready to die!
Thank you for the feedback and I'll try to be more active as I have a build coming soon 👍

make sure all grounds are really clean - that multi link grounding can cause all kinds of gremlins.

+1 to this. Can't tell you how many hours I've wasted searching for problems that are just bad grounds.

On the flip side, (not that grounds are not a huge issue),
Whitey ('91) was giving me fits with an intermittent 'click click click' no start...
( pulled starter & bench tested, ck'd clutch interlock, relay ck, etc...)

Fix was cleaning the oil off of the solenoid signal connector.
Oil leak was repaired, forgot about the follow up !!! DUH !!!
