    Dual- to Single-Headlight Conversion?

I prefer the less-busy single headlight face of the Mighty Max/early D50/Arrow.
Is this easily transplanted to replace the dual headlight face (headlights, grille, etc)?

Yes swap out the grill. But be sure to save all the old parts. It's getting harder to find the left hand headlight bucket.

Mazda B2200 use the exact same single headlight buckets as the 79-83 D50/MM. I picked up a couple at the wreckers to check them out ($1.99 each) as my passengers side was mangled in the accident and they have the same stamped part numbers on them. the other thing you'll need is the head light mounting bracket, just drill the spot welds off and replace the 4 light mount with the 2 light mount.

It's not plug-n-play, but not hard if you don't shy away from cutting/grinding and possibly welding. The sheetmetal behind the lights is welded into the radiator support member, and is shaped differently for dual vs. single headlights.

Personally, I like the dual-headlight look, and wanted to switch to large singles only because they have a better selection of aftermarket lights (I hear lots of good things about GE Nighthawks, but they appear unavailable in the small rectangle shape).

I may have a set of single headlight mounts for a 1st gen on my parts truck - I will look when it warms up this weekend - no way I am looking in 5 degree weather with -15 to -20 wind chills.
