    Twin Fuel Tanks

Has anyone ever tried mounting a second fuel tank on a first gen? Or am I the only crazy person with this idea? I was thinking of running the exhaust out the side under the cab and put the second tank on the other side of the drive shaft.

You the only one. IMO you don't need it. Gas stations are all over.

I have two, one in the stock position and one where the spare tire use to be. Used an RV fuel line splitter. Lots of gas stations around now but my vehicle is for bug out use.

I figured when full it would add some weight in the back in the winter and I could go further on a tank. I have a spare tank from a donor truck anyways

My secondary is a stock d50 tank hung from the frame using custom brackets. It is accessed through a flip down tag, like my old chevy.

Oh man. since it's a Mighty Max your going to blow a head gasket in the center of Zombie town. I'm not taking that chance. Thats why I built the one I did. It's built to run over the mass of protesters and give me a smooth ride the hole way. Hell it even has built in gun racks in the cab. And for a last resort it will eject the hottie as a distraction.
