Hey Er'body. My 1990 FI 2.4 is running rich. No Codes Though. I rodded out the cat to free up the motor. As well as added an electric fan. Previously, I thought the cat was clogged because of the smell.
Any ideas on how to fix the issue?

It's going to smell worse without a cat.
How old us the O2 sensor?
That, and check the throttle position sensor.

Mine has been the same way. Smells bad. I thought about removing the cat, thinking that was it. I may still do that. Mine started a few weeks ago, I didn't drive it all winter.
