Hi guys. New member here. We recently acquired a Clark forklift it a messed up lpg 4g64 8 valve engine

the crank is toast 3 out if 4 rods junk and cylinder bores are scored.
trying to find a used or reman 8v e fine is impossible but there is a lot of 16v engines available.

Is there much differences between the 2 ? The 8 valve has exterior mounted plugs vs the 16 valve which is in a spark plug tube. Will the distributor fit into the cylinder head of the 16v ?
