    Hello from down under!

Hey everyone, thought I’d finally jump in and introduce myself properly.

I’m Will, based in Adelaide SA, and my current headache-slash-passion project is a 1985 Mitsubishi L200 Express. Picked it up after seeing it sit in the same spot for months, ended up chatting with the old bloke who owned it, and next thing I knew I was driving home with a 40-year-old relic and a list of jobs longer than my patience.

I’ve recently pulled the 4G63 out for a much-needed refresh, only to find out the last guy beat me to it in the worst way possible. Between wrong parts arriving, mixed-bag eBay reviews, and discovering half the suspension components are older than I am, it’s been… character-building.

    Right now I’m working through
    • suspension + steering
    • seals and gaskets
    • brakes
    • tracking down the right parts (a full-time job in itself)
    • and pretending I’m not emotionally attached to a ute that tries to break me weekly

Despite the chaos, it’s genuinely one of my favourite builds. Keen to learn from people who’ve been around these trucks longer than 10 minutes, and always happy to chat, share progress, or cry together over discontinued Mitsubishi parts.

Looking forward to meeting more members and seeing everyone’s rigs. Cheers!
