MM 5 Lug Swap what am I doing wrong???

Truck is a 2wd 95 Mighty Max, I am attempting the Toyota 5 lug swap but running into trouble with the brakes. I got what I believe are early 90s Toyota front hubs from a junk yard, installed new Toyota bearings, seals and rotors that I got from Orileys, 257mm diameter. The hubs mount up fine but when I try to slide the caliper and bracket back over the rotor there is not enough space in between the back of the rotor and the spindle for the bracket to fit. Now this is the opposite of what I read online, everyone said you would have to shim the bracket out to center it over the rotor. Wondering if I got the wrong rotors or am doing something else wrong. I've read some reference to using a Mitsubishi bearing on one side but it didn't specify which. Anyone have some part numbers or advice? Thanks,

    Peter

There’s a video on YouTube can’t think about it now that explains how to do it. I know it’s an early 90-99 SR5 2wd Toyota hub . I also want to do this conversion too. I would like to know.

You'll have to elaborate further on what the issue is, I can't see anything wrong with your last photo.
Going by the first video by John Hamer, it sounds like you just got the wrong offset rotor, he highlights the issue you seem to be having.
