Hi folks,
I recently purchased an '89 D50 truck. Engine was out, disassembled and parts in boxes. The engine is now rebuilt, and most everything is back together. However, there is a small bracket left I can't associate with the engine assembly. Can anyone ID this part and advise on its installed location? Pics attached.
That's a bracket whose bolts connect the bellhousing to the engine and supports the header pipe. There's a c-clamp around the upper header pipe that bolts to the bracket. Here's a pic although the c-clamp hides much of the bracket:
Thank you very much for your help. In identifying the part you also made me aware of the C-clamp missing from my exhaust downpipe. With any luck I should have it all back together in much shorter order.
