    1988 Dodge Power Ram 50

    no spark to my spark plugs?

    i have no spark to my spark plugs and i am wondering what might be wrong...

    i have new plugs and wires and cap and rotor ...

    any ideas?

    crank / cam sensor, ECU ground, if it has that type of ignition type. Otherwise it can be the pick up coil or the little black controller on the side of the distributer.

    check the coil itself for fire as well.

    Check the ballast resistor on the coil - if it opens up, no spark.
