The book shows that #2 (Engine coolant temperature switch <AC>) is vertical in the thermostat housing.
The book shows that #3 (Engine coolant temperature sensor) is horizontal in the housing.
The book also shows that on the thermostat housing exploded appears to be the #3 (Engine coolant temperature sensor) vertical.
Included are some photos of the 1991 2.4L mighty Max.
Which is the correct location of #2 and #3?
Note that #3 has two prongs, where as #2 has the plastic connecter on the sensor.
