    Third Brake Light

I have been looking for a third brake light for my 87 RAM50. I have found a couple on line for about $150 a little steep I think. I was at the junk yard and found a 94 Mighty Max with one I bought for $10 SURPRISE!!!

I took the thing home cleaned it up and checked it out. It didn't work SURPRISE!!! So I started carefully separating the lens from the base and the LED strip was held in with 2 screws.

I figured I would take a chance and order a light off amazon the first light I ordered was a 32 bulb LED third brake light. I disassemble the light and the strip was a little short. I ordered the 40 bulb LED strip for $16 and it fit perfect, I held the the strip to the base with 3 dabs of silicone.

I will be installing this by picking up the feed from the brake light switch under the dash at the brake pedal.

Doing the same thing to mine. Any chance you remember that part number, can't read it too well.
