You could, but you'd need to clip the connector plug off your wires to the coil, crimp suitable terminals onto those wires, and figure out how to connect them up.
That said, the proper plug'n'play NGK U1024 coil isn't much more expensive than that generic coil you got, about $30 or less shipped, so if you can still return that for a refund, I'd just do that and get the proper coil:
