I'll go thru your microsquirt doc. Too slow download at work. Ignore questions if already covered
Since you've been thru it: maybe even use your service Awastegate at hotmail.com
what is basic cost to microsquirt ? and to go coilpack from your distributor setup ?

I'll keep everything updated as I move along. Especially as far as prepping the block any for more HP. Currently waiting for the shop I'm having built to be finished, and progress will begin again.

Leaving an update: It's been a while and ever since my shop was finished I've spent more time working on customer builds than any of my vehicles There is going to be a swap up. I'm putting the power/drivetrain from the white mitsu into my '87 Ram50. The '87 has a clean title and would make for a better, clean looking street truck. The white truck will be undergoing a V8 swap of some sort (haven't decided on platform but big block for sure) and will become a burnout contest rig. My welder is on the frits, so my new turbo manifold is being welded together by another fabricator. Once it's finished and I find time outside of customers vehicles I'll be moving forward with putting together all the parts I've had collecting dust for 6 months to a year now.

Update for improvements on the 8V 4G64 head - Dropped it off at the machine shop and after some conversation we decided on a few things. Getting some port and chamber work. Both exhaust and intake ports have some pretty large "humps" that are going to get opened up. This appears to be robbing a LOT of performance from these heads. The combustion chambers are also getting enlarged/reshaped.

Also, the intake valve are pretty large already, and probably why it performs so well stock form with a turbo. So I see no benefit from going with an oversized set. Will post an update once it's finished.

Headwork results should be interestingfrom the numerous SOHC 2.0/2.4 turbo builds on austarion, the magic seem to be in the valvesprings & a GOOD cam grindOddly the same as usa starquests experienced with the 2.6 SOHC - HUGE difference once you get those 'right'. Stock ports too
