    Pretty neat truck you have, the visor & bumper guard are rare items here in US especially the very rare cool visor... ? Should we know what the intake PLUG is all about (I am Weber ignorant)

    FYI parts from MEGAZIP & Amayama are still being shipped from the Japan warehouse but not from UAE warehouse (probably due to the Hamas War)

    Two other members here are from down under geezer101 Australia & tortron New Zealand...

    If Australia parts suppliers have original Mitsubishi 5 speed manual shift knobs ~ I'd buy one

    Weber advice from other members is plentiful here ~ best wishes to you fixing mate

    That plug is for a coolant passage that the Mikuni uses for its auto choke, which the Weber does not use, and adapter plates may not block it completely/reliably, so it's recommended to put a grub screw in there just to be sure.

    This is what's going on in that picture. The bit you can't see is there is another pipe that needs to be blocked off toward the back.

    This is the Chinese made Weber 38/38 clone hooked (mostly) up and running really well. Full confession: we used to do this back in the 1980s on our Chrysler Galants (maybe they were called something else in the US like a Colt or something). The mikuni carbs are fine when they are going but really hard to fix, where a Weber is a much simpler device and adds a few precious HP.
