Starter Wires

Please show a diagram of starter wires.

There should be only two wires to connect:

1) A fat cable connected from the battery (+) terminal to the large threaded terminal on the starter solenoid. Notice the other threaded terminal on the solenoid is already connected to the starter windings, so nothing else should be connected there.

2) A thinner wire connected to the small blade/spade terminal on the solenoid. If you have multiple loose wires and not sure which is this one, use a test light or multimeter to find which one only gets power when the key is turned to Start.
