I think the 4x4 vs. RWD cabs mainly differ in the floorpan, with/without room in the transmission hump for the transfer case and its shift lever. As such, I think a 4x4 cab can work on a RWD chassis, but not vice-versa without a cut/swap/weld of the differing hump portion.
