    Little Texas Power Ram

    Hey y'all!
The first truck I ever drove back in the early 90's was an 84ish Ram 50 Prospector edition. She got sold to a junk yard after I tried tinkering with it as a kid and got in over my head.

Fast forward nearly 40 years and I've finally found the Power Ram 50 that I've been seeking for years now. Just picked it up a couple of weeks ago and started the resto last weekend. She's a little rough but it's going to be worth it.

It also took me a while to find this forum but I'm super stoked that I did. Looking forward to tapping the resources that hopefully are available here!

Thanks Xboxrox. Nice resto on yours. One question, when you removed the bed, I noticed on mine where the frame bows up over the axles and makes contact with the bed crossmembers, it looks like at a glance there are a pair of screws protruding upwards out of the frame into the bed crossmembers. I'm not to the point of bed removal yet but I'm at a loss on how to remove said screws, or are they not in fact screws at all?

And Thanks Law Dog! I'm glad to be here! I'd like to get a set of those rocker panels from you. Pretty sure I'm not going to find a quality donor vehicle any time soon.
