    1985 Power Ram 50

    Hey all,

Last week I bought an 85 Power Ram 50 from the original owner's grandson. It runs great, all stock with the exception of a Weber carb. It has recovered bucket seats, just installed timing chain, PS and a seized AC compressor.

It is red with mostly original paint. I plan on carefully polishing it up and fixing all the little things it needs.

I'm looking for a good parts source. Is anything at all available from dealers? Where is the best place to find parts like a grille and front bumper? I've found some parts on www.car-part.com.

    Glad to be here,
    Jeff

I like (LUV) your truck ~ I know a place in Texas that will perfectly chrome your missing hubcap for $100.00

I plan on having the wheels and hub caps blasted and powder coated silver then throwing on some BFG KO2s in the stock size. I want to keep the stock/grandpa look going. I have all the hub caps, the front don't pop on too easily because the flange is all bent up. Hopefully I can make a tool to reform the factory "bead" that snaps to the wheel.

I pulled the running boards off already, they weren't really needed at all with this ride height.

You CAN reform the hubcap bead ~ I wished my trucks BFG KO2s has raised white letters ~ I think chrome hubcaps look better; my truck had silver painted caps originally
