    interior door handle repleacement

    Hi guys,
just looking for a point in the right direction.... anyone know where a gal can get a replacement door handle for a Gen 1 dodge ram 50? My driver side interior door handle snapped (pot metal) I'm very willing to call around to wreckers you know that has my truck to see if they'll pick and pull for me. I've been watching ebay for about a year with no luck. Just tired of pulling on the cable to open my door ya know.....
alternatively, if you know a different door handle that will fit the bolt pattern and cable length i'm all ears. I don't need it to match, i'm re-doing the upholstery at some point, i just want it to function. from my research a L200 might also have the same parts.
here's a photo for reference, part circled.

I have a gen2 but I found one on eBay last year. Really reasonable and a perfect fit.

If a gen 2 would work I’m parting out 92 D50 now that has a good one just let me know if it fits.

I just spent days wandering through Marlers Salvage in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I feel certain one of their Gen 1 trucks should still have a door handle. (They've got at least 8 gen 1 pickups) Give them a call or find them on the inter webs. Not sure what they'll charge but I was happy with how they worked with me in finding chrome steel wheels and I scored an LSD rear axle... (tho I was visiting my daughter out there so I was able to dig and find those parts myself...)
