    4x4 tyranny swap.

I found a parts truck 4x4 88 power ram50...blown motor ...I can get a "new" port and polish 2.0 motor..question is can the 2.0 plug into the power ram50 frame and transmission or would I be better off waiting longer but possibly put my current daily 87 2.6 sport motor on that tranny

Depends if the transmission will mount to the engine. I don't know if 4x4 trans is narrow or wide block and it may also depend if the engine is for an auto (wide block pattern)

See if this answers your questions:

    http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin...e+and+markings

It doesn't mention 4wd units but all 87-89 4wd trucks have the G54b engine and therefore, wide blocks.
