Engine rebuild recommendations

Considering having my 2.6 rebuilt, can anyone recommend a good mechanic with knowledge of these specific motors?(mm/ram 50). Location not important as I'm willing to do the distance for someone w/ the skills. Thanks

The SOHC 8 valve engines are about as basic as you can get. Any 'decent' reconditioning shop will give it the same treatment as any engine. Best bet is to ask local guys who does their work and who they would recommend. I did a google search and Kearney AG & Auto repairs came up on top of the list along with Westgate High Tech Auto Care. What is unnerving though is the cut and paste web pages they are using (both were worded identically - freaking lazy...)
