i have a 2.6 and bought a weber carb
and i am having a killer time trying to figure out how to mount the throttle linkage up ...
i tried a nut and bolt but it keep moving after i press the gas pedal

The kit should have come with an arm to attach the cable with a "floating pin" setup that rotates in the hole as the pedal is depressed. If you are using the stock arm from the mikuni carb, it will slip if you don't use the star type lock washers or fill and reshape the hole to match the weber shaft. If I get a chance, I will be a closeup of my linkage on Geronimo with a 2.6 5spd and a 32/36 dgev weber - my linkage is under the carb bowl in front, rather than the linkage in the back like the mikuni.
