Cleaning out the old one in hopes it'll work right but went to look for a new one just in case and it's priced crazy high, like 600 bucks+, is there any reasonably priced replacement part out there? 3.0 engine on a 93' mighty max. MD180503.

even some kind of way to adapt a more universal one would be nice.
