The curved one is a bypass. If the pump fails, any fuel will exit from that bypass barb instead of into the engine - don't hang a hose from it as if you are unlucky enough to have the pump fail, you won't visibly see it. The big single barb on the pump is the fuel inlet from the tank. The bottom fuel barb on the dual side of the pump (the one directly next to the fuel pick up/inlet) goes to the fuel bowl on the carb (top X on your pic) The fuel barb on the pump above that one goes to the accelerator pump on the carb (bottom X on your pic) Please give your carb a blast of cleaner inside and out. It will like you more for it

when i took the pump off it was missing
