Lowering blocks not lineup 86 ram 50

Swapped out 3 inch lowering blocks for 2 inch on my 86 ram 50 ,and only1 side nipple and holes lined up. Do I have to remove leaf springs? Any suggestions?

Keep the 'U' shackle bolts loose on the side that hasn't lined up so you have some wiggle room and figure out which way the locator needs to go (in or out). You have 2 options from here - use something like a ratchet strap to pull the leaf spring in, or a scissor jack and a length of timber as a brace to wind it out to get it to align. Trying to reef on it neanderthal style will put you at risk of dropping the truck on the ground - or yourself. There will be plenty of give in the hanger bushes to get the block to line up, but take the opportunity to look at the condition of the hangers and bushes etc and plan to replace anything that is showing signs of failure.
