    New member alert!

    New owners of 94 3.0l
    Seen the rig for sale on my local market place
    It ticked all my box so I had too

    5 speed
    v6
    4x4
    pickup

    all that being said the truck needs plenty of work
    This is my first Mighty max and Mitsubishi
    I Look forward to getting some feedback on my build
    I’ve got some questions and this seems like the best place to get answers

    Goal: reliable weekend warrior that can handle some 4x4
    trips camping and snowboarding

    open to suggestions

    Hi and welcome to mightyram. Mitsubishi 4x4's are more than capable off road vehicles. The 6G72 was only a small improvement over the 2.6 4 cylinder 4G54 but there are 2 other generations of engines that up the CC's and horsepower significantly if you want to chase big torque and horses (if that is your gig) Post pics and ask questions!

    Best of all worlds. You got the 3.0v6 with a very strong trans and axles. Start on top of Maintenece and she should hold up well. Also many parts are interchangeable with Monteros.

    look around for some fun builds. A guy put a 3.8l MIVEC in a truck like yours and it’s close to 300 hp.
