That is strange. They all get power direct from the battery, so it's not as if they're likely to receive power excessive enough to burn them out.

How do you determine they "burn" contacts? Open them up and inspect? Carbon deposits on the contacts may be a red herring. Have you put an ohmmeter to the terminals to see if the windings became an open or shorted circuit?
