Weber Carb Conversion Cleanup
Is there a thread or a list for what can be removed after a Weber carb conversion? Do I need an ECU, O2 sensor, etc? So far I've removed the vacuum octopus assembly, the evap canister, and some environmental devices from the exhaust and intake manifold. It still runs fine.
That Weber carb with electric choke is wonderful. I even got the cold start idle dialed in.
It needs a lot of work yet, but I love this little truck. A couple weeks ago I found a used topper for 100 bucks and it fits perfect.
Thanks,
Greg

No need for the ECU or O2 or 99% of vacuum lines. Just PCV and booster

You can disconnect the O2 sensor but it's handy to keep if you want to add an EGO meter. Only vac line you really need to retain is the distributor vacuum advance. The Weber is time consuming to get it dialled in, but it's a lot simpler and efficient than the Mikuni.
