1990 mighty max 2.4l starts but won't idle help

My 90 mighty max 2.4l 5speed starts and will idlefor a few then die I just replaced spark plugs (new plug wire replaced a month ago) new ignition coil, new distributor cap and crank shaft sensor, and new starter. I also have my fuel pump straight wired with a toggle switch usually when I started it I would have to flip the switch then turn the key but since I had to replace those parts it won't start with switch on but when I turn it off it starts then I have to quickly turn it back on to stay idled then it will idle for a minute and die

90mm ~ the only recommendation I can think of is ask yourself "why" you need to use a modified fuel pump arrangement ~ maybe returning things to a stock condition will fix it..? Someone who knows more will chime in

Following recommendation is to get the check error codes from the ECU. Next is a visual inspection of the ECU. They are notorious for leaking capacitors but it is a relatively easy thing to spot and repair. It will affect idle and general engine power. I'm guessing the fuel relay stopped working and you couldn't diagnose it, which ended up with you having to bypass it. Undo the ghetto fixes as they add unpredictable faults that become increasingly difficult to track down. It sounds like they are all fuel related. It could be something minor like a clogged fuel filter

fuel pump & O/2 sensor replaced mid december 2020 according to your post.
I am guessing the toggle switch was wired in after the pump installation ?

How about an on vehicle pic of the 'crank shaft sensor' you installed ?

90mm stop throwing parts at the problem!!!

    1. Is your CEL on?
    2. Have you replaced your fuel filter yet?
