    Newbie 92 MM

1992 MM in Aiken, SC. Purchased recently, installed Belltech lowering springs, shocks, and blocks. Wheels are next and may remove one leaf to level the drop.

you might want to flip a leaf rather than remove it outright

+1 on flipping a leaf vs removing it. Taking a leaf out will reduce rear end stability (which isn't great to start off with) and will greatly reduce what kind of load the truck will support if you still want to retain some practicality. Be aware at some point it'll want to bottom out on the bump stops depending on how low you go - hitting the bump stops doesn't make for a fun drive... There are a few things you can do to sharpen up the trucks' handling though. Your next mod of rims and low profile tires will get it grabbing the road and is probably the most crucial in regards to grip.

Thanks for the input!! Was just a thought on the leaf. Wasn’t a concrete plan as of yet. Wheels and tires first and then I’ll step back and take a look.
