    1987 g54b carb help

I’m new to the site. Just purchased a 1987 power ram 50. I have disassembled the carb cleaned and I am currently trying to reassemble. My question is I took pics but lost them and I have 4 springs. I’m not sure which goes where. Accelerator pump mixture valve and so on. Please help. Downloaded chilton manual but it just says springs. It don’t say what length or size.

Welcome to the site. Can you post pictures of the four springs? The second gen Mikuni has a number of springs, some internal and others external. Pictures will help identify the springs or where they belong.

My Mikuni is a Gen 1 DID-TF 708 not the same as yours --

sub egr has a small spring & small ball bearing
the bowl vent valve electromagnet actuator has an internal spring against the diaphragm
the dashpot has an internal spring

many photos of my Mikuni rebuild here:

Good Luck & at least your carb and parts for it are still readily available in most auto parts stores

For any mounting bolts to manifold that won't tighten properly or stay tight ~ try using a little wrap on the threads with plumbers teflon tape ~ sparingly, it won't need much...
