I had to finish the job but there's no way I was taking the cab off to take care of the front end of the frame and the other components. I did the best I could by raising the front, removing wheels and mud guards and scrubbing away at all the places I could reach, everything except the exhaust. Followed up with oven cleaner degreasing treatment and power wash, then rust reformer and undercoating. Hopefully this will keep any significant rust away for a few years.

I also removed the fenders to reach the front of the rocker panels and deal with some rust that was starting to eat away at the sheet metal, and also some surface rust between the fender and the wheel well panel.

I realized that I'm missing the front part of the under cover, so I guess I'm on the lookout for one of those now
