Interior Door Handles - First Gen (1983)

Anyone know where replacements can be bought, or what is a good substitute ?

going to need to find some used ones. If you dont mind the look, im pretty sure a 2nd gen one would work with a little modding

If you aren't worried about originality, you can make new door cards and fit handles from the Gen 2 trucks or another Mitsubishi of the same era/years like from a Montero etc. The handle cut outs in the door cards are different and won't match the Gen 2 handle assemblies. You will probably need to modify the handle rods with a cut and bend but this is easy enough to do and I have done this myself (I used Plymouth Champ/Mitsubishi Colt inner handles on my Gen 1 with custom door cards)
