    2.6 ltr for Canada without Silent Shaft?

    Somewhere I read, or heard, there was an 2.6 ltr engine around 1980 made for D-50 trucks going to Canada that did not have the "Silent Shaft" system. Anybody heard of these or know anything about them?

    I know that the 1980 canada 2.6 did not have the jet valves, but I am not sure about the balance shafts - I will check the 1980 shop manual on that.

    in the 4G64 line those without silent shafts were installed in Forklifts
