Hello! new 86 G54B mighty max 4x4 owner in portland, oregon

hello all, glad to find this forum!
just picked up my 86 mighty max 4x4 and i'm thrilled. previous owner put in an engine about 40k ago, i think its still a G54B... looks like new belts, newer radiator. he had it painted and put on hew wheels and tires also. this will be my daily driver so i'm planning to get it in as best of shape as i can. I'm no mechanic but I make up for my lack of experience with a willingness to learn LOL. I used to have an 81 toyota pickup which i put a weber on and deleted vacuum lines but I havent done much. I'm willing to try anything with the proper guidance and knowhow I know I'll find here. I plan to start with the "new owner checklist".

Hoping to find a coalition of owners here in the PNW who can direct me to shops,suppliers, other fun stuff.

at the top of my list are:

current state of affairs under the hood, overall.
right rear red side marker light cover
gas cap spring
new bench seat or upholsterer (somebody's got an 86 d50 at a junkyard in central washington I'm hoping to snag the seat from)
possibly an electric fan, seems like I could tackle that
maybe a lift? it's sitting pretty now so that would come later. possibly just taller tires when these wear out. this is my first 4x4 vehicle.
