If the auto choke is viable and the secondary vac actuator works + you've already pulled the carb apart - why not put a kit through it? It will save you the headache of finding a direct replacement carb and you'll need to put a kit through a used carb anyway. 3 main components that fail on Mikuni carbs are the auto choke (a nightmare to replace), the vac actuator for the secondary throat (easy fix once you've determined that it has failed) and the fuel bowl vent (it'll cause flooding/running issues) Just don't mess with any factory sealed screws (ones with paint on them) Get a complete kit with all of the necessary replacement diaphragms and take your time with it. They aren't a fun carb to pull down but being thorough and doing small things like trimming sketchy aftermarket gaskets down (they are rarely ever a perfect fit) will ensure the odds will be in your favour when you bolt it down and go for a first start.
