Sent a message through eBay a week ago about picking up one for a 4G64. Any idea on how long a response took? Maybe have the email since I didn't see it on their page?

I thought I had posted here earlier. ??
Anyway I contacted the seller indicated on catdog's post. The link he has up shows that item is sold. Hopefully he's not got a bad taste in his mouth doing shipping during the pandemic or worse Fingers crossed.

Edit- I'm impatient so I sent a followup message and poking around the net I can't find anything outside of ebay for this outfit Australian Performance Systems. Here is their store. The note says to message them and they will get back ASAP... The price is right anyway.

Has anyone added a CAT after the header on the mightyram?
I'd like to put one in after the header, I am wondering about what would be the best location and how to shield it.

I heard back from Brad. He told me to write something he sent me in the note and "we will send the correct ones" (headers). $185 US delivered if it works out. He also said it was two week backlogged and 4-6 week delivery due to the virus.

I asked Brad and he is fine with being contacted for headers. Here is the store page. https://www.ebay.com/usr/aps8748

How do they work/sound? How has the coating held up?
Edit- Also can you get a picture of where they end underneath?

It sounds good but I have take it to get it welded . I dont have a welder . It's just sitting together . I started the motor and broke it in . The header smoked alot at first . Lol. But then stopped . Its loud but will quite down when I do get it welded . Also going to hollow out the cat . I have 2 1/2 to 3" exhaust tip . Straight pipe exhaust.

I got them in today. The papers say they are for the L300, 4g62, 4g63. Is that the same experience MaxDSM and CatDog had? The welded tag says Redback 136. They are lighter and smaller than I imagined. The tube end got banged up in shipping.

    the mount.jpgIt's here.jpg tag.jpg slight damage.jpg

Edit- just logged off and the message thru ebay came back that the 136 is code for the L200. He didn't tell me what they coat it with. Any ideas? There are small spots where it needs to be coated. I suppose wood stove paint might work.

Nice headers but if they stated for an L300, they're gonna be fouling somewhere. Is there an O2 sensor bung welded into them? That would be good if it does - you can install an EGO/air fuel meter to monitor what the engine is up to.

I got responded to within 24 hours the first time and faster since. I ordered and received them in ten days. Do a followup on your ebay message and make sure it is these guys https://www.ebay.com/usr/aps8748

They responded. The 136 is code for the L200. No bung. Apparently this is how they streamline their listings. If you contact them and ask for L200 they respond with a code you put in the order message and you get the L200 version by ordering through the L300 page. They sure beat the 8 week delivery estimate.

Well, they gave you pretty good customer service and correspondence. And you can always get a shop to weld in a sensor bung while they button up the exhaust system.

I'm thinking about a flux core welder from HF since my Lincoln arc welder is too hot to get a good weld on thin wall. That costs around the same as a meter (I'm not sure how I would use the info it gave me) and that way I have a welder for thin stuff. I could put a weldolet on if I need too down the road.

Yep finally got mine welded . Decided to keep the cat and it's running great didnt foul out once and drove it all day today lol. To several stores . The pickup is very noticeable. And as geezer101 said you can have a 0² bung plug welded in for cheap. 85ram50 that dent shouldn't matter any basic automotive welding place can fix that dent easy ..make sure you brake in the header with w0T !
