    New owner of an old 1987 Ram 50

    A lot of floor pan and frame rust , runs - drives with leaks of course .... Is it worth trying to fix ? body parts like floor pans seem like they are not available

    If you're comfortable with welding that's not to hard to look after. If you want to keep the truck you can strip it down in a weekend, then sandblast the frame and paint it in a rust proof paint (repairing the frame as needed). The cab once off can be repaired with it standing on the back of the cab.That way you can get at both sides for repairs.
