Reason for the snorkel is due to the many river crossing in the area and with change of seasons water levels can be unpredictable
I have had it almost submerged , water up over to the windscreen!! , luckily the wave/Jesus kept the water out of the intake ?, heaps came through the water vents tho! as for it being water tight, she surprisingly Never had a leak and have been through MANY deep-ish crossings . Not sure what it would look like with snorkel never seen one with a snorkel .
Roof rack was found in my mates workshop , found 2 to be overkill and it comes in handy for straping stuff down.

2)Transfer case # no clue ?
3) Air conditioning ? nope
4) Power steering ? nope
5) Power brakes ? nope
6)Differential gear ratios ? yes hi/lo
I really use this truck for all sorts of things , she was given road tyres and used for doing alsorts of random stuff ,just this week has it had its 200,000 birthday and been put back on more off-road tyres
